š IMPORTANT SOLAR ECLIPSE UPDATE šHello Parents,Just a friendly reminder that we have an exciting event coming up on Monday, April 8th - a solar eclipse! Safety is our top priority, so we want to ensure that all our students and staff can enjoy this celestial event safely.
For our elementary school students (PreK3-Grade 5) and staff, outdoor activities like recess, physical education, and field trips will be temporarily suspended during the eclipse. Instead, everyone will gather indoors in their classrooms.But don't worry! We've arranged for an exciting alternative. Students will have the fantastic opportunity to view the solar eclipse via a live-stream NASA feed from the comfort and safety of their classrooms. It's going to be an educational and unforgettable experience for all.Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Let's make this solar eclipse day one to remember!

As I continue to engage with our staff, students, parents, and community members, Iām reminded of the tremendous potential that exists within La Joya ISD. He conocido a muchas mĆ”s personas increĆbles y he sido testigo de primera mano del talento y la dedicaciĆ³n dentro de nuestro distrito. A medida que sigo interactuando con nuestro personal, estudiantes, padres y miembros de la comunidad, recuerdo el tremendo potencial que existe dentro de La Joya ISD.
