A Message from your LIbrarian

Welcome to your Library!

As we approach the holiday season, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you for making this a truly wonderful year in the library. The excitement, curiosity, and passion for reading that our students bring to the library each day is a constant source of joy and inspiration. It’s been an honor to watch our young readers explore new worlds, dive into incredible stories, and discover the magic that books hold.

This holiday season, I encourage everyone to continue nurturing that love of reading, whether by cozying up with a favorite book or exploring a new one. Books have a special way of bringing people together, sparking imaginations, and opening our minds to new possibilities. I hope this season brings opportunities to share stories, create memories, and enjoy moments of peace and connection.

I also want to thank our dedicated teachers, staff, and families for their continued support of our library program. Your involvement and encouragement make such a difference, and I am so grateful for the way you help cultivate a love of learning and reading in our students.

As we take a well-deserved break to recharge and spend time with loved ones, I hope that this season brings you warmth, joy, and plenty of time to unwind with a good book. I look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year with more exciting reading adventures and library activities!

Wishing you all a magical holiday season filled with love, laughter, and the joy of reading.

Warm regards,

Vanessa Skelton, Elodia R. Chapa Elementary School Librarian
