🌞 IMPORTANT SOLAR ECLIPSE UPDATE 🌞Hello Parents,Just a friendly reminder that we have an exciting event coming up on Monday, April 8th - a solar eclipse! Safety is our top priority, so we want to ensure that all our students and staff can enjoy this celestial event safely. For our elementary school students (PreK3-Grade 5) and staff, outdoor activities like recess, physical education, and field trips will be temporarily suspended during the eclipse. Instead, everyone will gather indoors in their classrooms.But don't worry! We've arranged for an exciting alternative. Students will have the fantastic opportunity to view the solar eclipse via a live-stream NASA feed from the comfort and safety of their classrooms. It's going to be an educational and unforgettable experience for all.Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. La Joya ISD will be taking a little break to observe spring break from March 11-15. Classes will resume their normal schedule on Monday, March 18. Administrative offices and all campuses will be closed Monday through Friday, March 11-15.
