
Mrs. Villarreal’s 5th grade class visited the science lab this week. Students were learning about electrical circuits. In the science lab they tested electrical conductivity, then created series and parallel circuits. Students had a blast learning how electrical circuits work.

Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students in Mrs. Quintanilla’s class had a fun day learning about the letter P! Students celebrated the letter P by having a letter P party. From pizza to popcorn, and even pudding and pie, students were so excited to learn all about the letter P.

Students in Mrs. Vera’s 1st grade class have been introduced to skip counting. Students are practicing counting by twos using their 120 colored coded chart. During this activity they had the opportunity to work in their groups, practice writing numbers, and review counting.

The students in Mrs. M. Peña’s 5th Grade Class are learning about light energy in Science. They created a foldable where they learned that light travels in a straight line until it strikes an object and causes a reflection or travels from one medium to another and causes a refraction. They also practiced the vocabulary words for the unit using the vocabulary cards.
