Dear Chapa Elementary Families, Students, and Staff,

Welcome back to the 2026–2027 school year!

I am so excited to welcome everyone back to the Elodia R. Chapa Elementary Library! A new school year means new adventures, new discoveries, and countless opportunities to grow through reading, creativity, and innovation.

Our library is a place where every student belongs—a place to explore new ideas, spark curiosity, create, collaborate, and develop a lifelong love of reading. Whether you're checking out your first book, exploring our makerspace, discovering new technology, or diving into an exciting story, there is something for everyone in our library.

This year, I encourage every Husky to challenge themselves to read more, ask questions, think creatively, and never stop exploring. Every book you read opens the door to a new adventure, and every visit to the library is another opportunity to learn something amazing.

I look forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting our new students and families, and making this an unforgettable year together. Let's fill our library with kindness, curiosity, imagination, and a passion for learning.

¡Bienvenidos al ciclo escolar 2026–2027!

¡Me llena de alegría darles la bienvenida nuevamente a la Biblioteca de la Escuela Primaria Elodia R. Chapa! Un nuevo año escolar significa nuevas aventuras, nuevos descubrimientos y muchas oportunidades para crecer a través de la lectura, la creatividad y la innovación.

Nuestra biblioteca es un lugar donde todos los estudiantes son bienvenidos; un espacio para explorar nuevas ideas, despertar la curiosidad, crear, colaborar y desarrollar el amor por la lectura para toda la vida. Ya sea que estén llevando su primer libro a casa, explorando nuestro Makerspace, descubriendo nuevas tecnologías o disfrutando de una historia emocionante, siempre habrá algo especial esperándolos en la biblioteca.

Este año los invito a leer más, hacer preguntas, pensar de manera creativa y nunca dejar de explorar. Cada libro que leen abre la puerta a una nueva aventura, y cada visita a la biblioteca es una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo y maravilloso.

Espero con entusiasmo volver a ver a nuestros estudiantes, conocer a las nuevas familias y compartir un año lleno de experiencias inolvidables. Juntos llenaremos nuestra biblioteca de amabilidad, curiosidad, imaginación y una gran pasión por el aprendizaje.
